I am Chantea Williams, owner of Relentless Publishing House. I remember when I was looking to publish my first book, I couldn’t find anyone to guide me along the way. I figured it out and helped others to do the same before making it a business. I know firsthand the frustration and uncertainty when deciding to self-publish. It can be overwhelming with all the information you find on the internet and through social media. I created my book publishing business to take the pain out of publishing and ease the fears of aspiring authors.
I started my publishing company in 2018 under the former name, Greater Working Women Publishing Company. My first 10 clients were from an online course that I taught. Those clients published their first ebook and eight of them made the investment to publish the print version. This was my first test to see if I could really do this and I haven’t looked back since. As we began to pick up male clients, the first thing they would ask was, “Do you work with men?” I knew then that we needed a new name. One more marketable and gender-friendly. We rebranded in 2019 to Relentless Publishing House and it was the best decision we could have ever made for the success of our company.
We help authors of all ages to self-publish high-quality books. Our authors retain 100% of their royalties and there are no hidden fees for our services. Our publishing packages are affordable and we offer payment plans. We also offer A la Carte services to help you complete your book and level up your marketing. Our signature product is our Aspiring Author Kit, which comes with a publishing planner and a free 30-minute video session. In this session, we help you organize your book ideas and write your outline. We want the book in your head to be in your hands.
We take a limited number of authors each quarter to ensure each of our clients has a personalized experience. We prefer quality over quantity. We want our relationships with our clients to be rewarding for all parties. We require a 15-minute consultation before taking on any new client. We want you to be certain that we are the right publisher you need to publish your manuscripts.
We didn’t leave the children out. We have rebranded our youth writing program to Perry’s Jr. Book Club. It is for junior writers ages 5- 18. We first launched this program in 2018 under Young Writers Academy. We had eight students but only two of them completed the work to publish their book. We ended the program due to frustration and disappointment. After a meeting with our business coach with her guidance and expertise, it is back better than ever. I asked my daughter for help and she suggested using the panda and I immediately knew I would name him after my brother, Perry. Jr.
In Perry’s Jr. Book Club, members will learn not only how to write and self-publish their own book but also the business of being an author. We are reiterating the importance of literacy among our children. Our first creative writing virtual summer camp will be held in the Summer of 2021. Perry will also have his own children’s book series called Perry’s Adventures. The first book will launch in the Fall of 2021. Perry has his own merchandise and accessory line. Visit our store for his t-shirts and bit.ly/perrymerch for the accessories. In 2021, we start the monthly book club, where members will be assigned a book to read and they will have to submit a book report. Our goal is to partner with schools and allow this to be extra credit.
